I wanted to share with the club a proud moment in my Ham career.
I have been inducted into the FOC. First Class CW Operators Club on June 1, 2019.

FOC was formed in Great Britain in 1938 as club with the highest standards of CW operating and since 1938, only 2135 members have been accepted.
There are requirements for joining and these must be demonstrated over a
6 month period, having been nominated and then sponsored by at least 5 current members, one of which must be from the UK and others from at least two continents. Qualifications include sending and receiving CW at 
25+ WPM with good signal and sending characteristics. Members who
sponsor you must have 2-way CW qso's on at least two bands with you and cannot be asked to sponsor, they must independently recognize your ability.
You must be very active, have good practice, clean signal, and skills to be recognized.
Current membership is limited to 500

There is only one other FOC member here in northern Colorado, Cliff N6KII in FC, about 5 total in the state.
