Until April 27th, Gigaparts is offering a free lifetime warranty upgrade with the purchase of any of their extended warranty plans.
I purchased a product from them, bought the Silver (2 year) extended warranty for an additional $9.95, and the Silver extended warranty was upgraded to a Lifetime warranty at no additional cost.
Might be old news, Just FYI.

Hey Guys & Gals!
It seems like there's some confusion regarding the Lifetime Warranty promotion, so I want to clarify it as much as I can from the GigaParts side. With extended warranties, we offer 3 levels (Silver, Gold and Platinum) and each level has different benefits such as length of coverage, prepaid return labels, buyers remorse protection and the ability to be transferred. With the current Lifetime Warranty promotion, every qualifying product that we offer a extended warranty on will have a Lifetime Warranty upgrade added in the cart automatically with whatever level of warranty you select (Silver, Gold or Platinum). You must select a warranty option from the drop down before adding a product to the cart for it to add the Lifetime Upgrade. If you see the Lifetime Warranty promotion on the product page you are looking it, it qualifies. All Silver level warranties for qualifying products are $9.95 -- yes that includes transceivers, amps, tuners, etc.
So for example, a Icom IC-7300 with the Silver Lifetime Warranty is $1359.90.
The Lifetime coverage is for as long as YOU own the product and is not transferable. During the original manufacturers warranty coverage (typically the first year), you would submit warranty claims to the manufacturer first. After the manufacturers coverage expires, you would submit claims to GigaParts. This Lifetime extension is offered by GigaParts, not the manufacturer. The extended warranty does not cover accessories included with the base item (i.e., microphones, chargers, external speakers, cables, etc.) or consumables (i.e., rechargeable or alkaline batteries, ink, toner, RF tubes, solid state finals, etc.). The Lifetime Warranty option isn't available for every product, but you will find it available on almost every transceiver for sure. I hope this helps!
