[NCARC] New Tech Net?

Hi Bryan,
What I envisioned was for a person to ask a question or ask for more
information on a subject or problem and have it answered by an
experienced Ham. There would be some back and forth between the
moderator and the person asking the question to be sure the subject was
answered completely. There would likely be interaction if the answer
brought up more questions.
I don't want to rotate "in-turn" as a roundtable because most guys would
like to listen to an answer, however we would allow pauses and ask for
anyone to come in and add or clarify.
I won't actually be asking for check-ins, that would waste time. I would
suspect that this net would be of value and be informative to those
listening regardless of the question(s) put forth. I will ask for anyone
with a question unless I received one before via email and that person
is there to hear the answer. The net may be a one on one or more
depending on who is listening or who wishes to speak. Those listening or
arriving later can contribute or ask a question during a pause.
That person would say their callsign during a pause and be recognized by
the net control, then they would ask or add.
I am opening to suggestion.

This might be nice for the Wednesday night club net also. I’ve noticed with these local nets that lots of people check in, but then nobody contributes. If each person that checks in is called upon to speak their 2 minutes, it might make the net more fun and interesting.
