Hi all,
  I need help in decommissioning the NCARC repeater site at Ed Lawrence's
location need to form a work crew.

  We need to get together this coming Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm local
time.  The address of Ed's place is 1577 E County Road 82 which is about
half way between North County 9 and 15 on the south side of County Road 82
(The Rawhide Power Plant road).

  The repeater shack is in the far south west corner of ED's property.
No need to bother Ed, there is a road in the field along the north fence
line on the property, just follow the dirt roads around the perimeter to
the repeater site.

  There is barbedwire fencing and fence posts which basically are now
surplus, a 4X4X8  wooden shack which is no longer needed which is needing
to go to a good home.   The solar panels that powered the site are fairly
well used and if the club wants to do something solar again I would only
want to use new panels so those too are up for grabs.   The tower, coax and
antenna will remain club hardware until a use for them is found.

    K1TJ has volunteered to attempt to gracefully lower the tower and
antenna using his tow truck and the winch.  We need someone to climb to
about 20-30 foot level to attach the winch cable in order to do this.

  There is a good afternoon's worth of work to do and if you have any other

   You'll need work gloves, sunscreen, water and tools of mass distraction.
  I'll be there as early as I can and start the process of removing the
fencing around the shed so we can have better access to everything.
