Here are a few sites useful for tracking wildfires.  The first one, geomac.gov, you need to start zooming in slowly and then click on the Active Fires tab on the left side of screen.  There you will see 2 to 4 boxes.  The first two will be already checked.  Check the other one or two thermal imaging boxes.  Then as you get closer to Northern Colorado, or wherever you want to look in North America. look for red or yellow dots, then circles as you get closer.  Yellow apparently means that the fire from the previous day has cooled down.   The fires near Horsetooth Reservoir are not big enough (thank God) for the Geomac to detect it as green triangles from afar., so you have to enable the thermal imaging the find the little ones.   - Mike - KF4DUS
