Subject: 2013 Tour de Cure Volunteers Needed on August 17
To: Ron Thomas <ronald.thomas at gmail.com>
Hi All,
We are very short on volunteers this year, so if there's any chance you can
assist (even for a short while), your help is very much appreciated.
Hi Folks,
The 2013 ADA Tour de Cure is approaching!
We're going to continue our plans to implement new processes and
technologies, so we need your help. We will be providing voice
communications APRS support for the event, and you can help us ensure that
this year is another success.
The ride is Saturday, August 17, and the various routes will span over 100
gorgeous miles through Longmont, Loveland and Estes Park.
For event details, including race and rest stop maps, please see the Tour
de Cure Website at http://www.tourdecurecolorado.com.
Please consider volunteering for this noble cause, and spread the word to
your fellow hams and radio clubs. To lend your much appreciated support,
please email me (ronald.thomas at gmail.com) with the following information:
- Call Sign
- Contact Phone Number and Type (preferably cell)
- Radio and Antenna Capabilities (if your rig is mobile, can it be easily
moved to a SAG Vehicle?)
- Operational Capabilities (Rest Stop, SAG Vehicle, or either)
- APRS Capability
- T-shirt Size
Thank you and 73,
Ron Thomas
