[NCARC] NCARC HAMFEST 2013 - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Everyone;

 

It’s only 5 days until the NCARC’s finest Hamfest ever!  We are in serious
need of volunteers so please think about helping us out.

 

If you login to the club website and go to the volunteer page
(http://ncarc.net/node/246) you will find all the information about
positions and what you would be doing.

We especially need:

 

LOTS MORE VOLUNTEERS!  We only have less than ¼ the number of folks we need
to pull this off.  Help us out PLEASE!

 

Kids on the Radio:  we need 1-2 more folks to help here – Especially with
setting up two temporary antenna masts the morning of the event.  ALSO:  we
could use a manual HF antenna tuner and 100 feet of coax terminated.  We
hope to have a 20 meter dipole up in the air this year!

 

Extra Raffle Ticket Sales – On The Floor:  The extra tickets people buy for
the raffle really pay for the beautiful radios we give away – help with this
is needed!

 

News:

 

Rocky Mountain Ham Radio is bringing their emergency communications trailer
and it will be inside the building!

 

Southwest Antennas is attending!  They have purchased 6 tables and are in
the process of donating a prize to us.  They are out of Moriarty, NM –
that’s over 450 miles away.  How about that for pulling them in!

 

Arrow Antennas from Cheyenne is returning as well

 

We currently have 80 plus tables reserved so if you are thinking about
getting a table or two, you are going to want to do that soon!
