[NCARC] Fort Collins Rowing Association needs help

Hi fellow hams-

 

There was a very nice message / request for help on my answering machine a
few days ago-and I'm wondering if there are a few people who would like to
gain NET experience and could help Peggy Sue out:

Sculling race in Horsetooth on Sept. 21st in the morning  (same day as the
NCARC picnic but earlier)

Would like ham radio communications help

In the past, someone with NCARC also had a boat which was really helpful.

Someone in the past with NCARC participated in this event with a boat that
really impressed Peggy Sue.   Can someone either volunteer to lead or to
help out?   This is one of the most fun aspects of ham radio as you both set
up in interesting communication situations AND you get to meaningfully
interact with non-hams who very much value your help.
