You have been mailing to both mailing lists. But you haven't been
replying so much as starting new threads with new messages. Not
having any thread of discussion but just having new messages makes it
hard to follow the topic. And I think here it means that you started
a new message and sent it to a different list than you intended. You
have been sending messages to both mailing lists.

I am subscribed to both mailing lists and read both and have been
seeing your postings to both. Because nclug and ncarc look quite
similar in To: address I think you have been confusing them and have
been sending messages intended for "nclug" over to us here on the
"ncarc" mailing list. A simple confusion of To: addresses in your
contact list.
Instead of starting a new message every time if you group-follow-up
reply to the previous message then it will do the right thing and will
follow-up to the existing discussion thread. Sending new messages
with different subjects each time makes it harder for us readers to
follow the discussion.
Meanwhile, Paul KD0JOF read your computer question on the ncarc radio
list here and replied with some useful information from his setup. I
don't recall having seen Paul on the nclug list and I doubt he is
aware of your postings there. So he simply responded to you here.
Hopefully that helps to clear things up.
Bob
