[NCARC] Wanted to Borrow: Power/SWR meter and dummy load

  Hi,

Does anyone have a HF Power/SWR meter (i.e. something like a MFJ-874)
that I can borrow for a short time? I'd also like to borrow a higher
wattage dummy load if possible. My homemade QRP dummy load is on the
edge of smoking, and the only way I currently have of measuring power is
a voltage detector circuit (a switching diode and capacitor) on that
dummy load. I'd like something that can handle up to 70 watts, with
perhaps up to 30-40 watts for 2 minutes continuous. For some of the
testing I want to do I don't need a dummy load, I just want to calibrate
various drive settings with output power at various frequencies.

Note, I want to eventually buy something along these lines, but I'm
hoping to find something used at a swap meet/HamFest. If anyone has
something along these lines that they want to sell, let me know.

If you are willing to lend something to me I can pick it up at the
meeting this Saturday and return it directly to your home sometime next
week.

Thanks,

John
