[NCARC] Assistance needed this Saturday in Ault

This is a short-notice request for assistance with the annual Rat Race in
Ault.


This is NOT and ARES activity but the Fort Collins area Amateur operators
have supported this event for many years now.

 

It is an early morning event that requires 8 to 10 operators.

 

The support team needs to arrive in Ault by 6:30 am at the City Park (Hwy 14
and 1st St.).

 

It is a 10K run, a 5K run and a walk to support the day care center in Ault.

 

The radio operation is usually on 2 meter simplex along the country road
course that takes the runners south from the city park and back along the
same course.

 

The event concludes between 10 and 11 am.

 

I will make an announcement for this on the Thursday ARES net and will make
a short list of anyone who can help out with this.
