[NCARC] Need help with an interference problem

Hi folks-

 

I received a call from Holly Spoor (daughter of Don Spoor, W9HOR who is a
silent key 2005).  Her husband Randy is in hip rehab in Fort Collins - but
he is immobile for awhile.  He loves to listen to AM radio (1410 AM) however
he can't use hi radio because of a strong Wifi interferences signal  nearby.
I've suggested she bring in a boom box AM radio that can be put in a metal
case to see if front-end overload might be the issue.  I don't have time
myself to get involved too deeply, but Holly would love some advice.  If you
