I forwarded this email and sent it out on the reflector for Bret and put
the files on my server. These are assuming you are using a high power
mobile (50 watts on 2 meter, 35 watts on 440 and 25 watts on 220). More
information below.

Tom - K1TJ

------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hello Gang,

Per a recommendation from K1TJ I have generated coverage plots
for the NCARC repeaters. I used the GPS coordinates from the club
site as well as site install information from Toms memory. These
may not be 100% accurate but they should be very darn close. I've
noticed some weirdness on the Horsetooth sites down along the I-25
into Denver area. I know from experience I can keep the 275 machine
up (if pretty scratchy) to about 120^th and I-25. It may well be
an accurate portrayal however as I built the sites independently of
each other using the information I mentioned above. If anyone has
any real world experience that requires I adjust a plot just shoot
me an email back and I'll get it adjusted.

I'm not sure what the rules on content and all that are, but
consider this a verbal agreement to put these (and any further
revisions I make) on the website. Print them out for the hamfest.
Print them out for target practice. I don't mind J

If the club looks at future sites I would be happy to run
plots for those as well. Or if you know of other clubs that want
something similar to this I can try to get to them as time permits.
I will require the following information.

         GPS coordinates

         Frequencies

         Repeater output power

Any information available on a duplexer, receive filters,
diplexers, triplexers, rx amplifiers etc. I can fudge this a
little, but it helps if you have it.

Length (total!) and type of feedline used

Any information you have on the antenna

Height of the antenna on the tower

I look forward to seeing everyone at the swapfest. I've been
able to inform a handful of people that hadn't heard yet but are
    definitely showing up now!
