Hello all,
Saw an ad on the Boulder Craigslist for a tower that needs to be removed.
Talked to the gentleman and the deal is that it must be removed without
damaging the home or some nearby trees.
Am not sure of the brand but he describes it as being about 20 to 25 feet
high. There is no antenna or rotor on the tower, just the tower which is
attached to the side of the house.
>From what has been described the tower would have to be unbolted from the
side of the house then tilted over on the bottom plate and maneuvered around
the trees to be removed.
The person who owns the house is the grandson of the Ham who had the tower
installed, unfortunately the Ham is now in an assisted living facility and
unable to provide any information.
If you're seriously interested and able to remove the tower, go to the
Boulder Craigslist and type in Ham Radio, then look for the ad for the Free
Ham Radio Antenna (note there is not an antenna involved). If you're unable
to find it let me know and I'll provide contact information.
I'm sending this out to assist the gentlemen who is looking to have this
removed from him property.
73,
Mike
