[NCARC] Need 3 operators for August 21

Hi all,

The NCARC has been requested to provide communications support for the Old
Flowers 10K run.

The event runs from 7am to 1pm and the date is August 21 (the same day as
the NCARC meeting).

The starting location is at Stove Prairie, where County Road 27 intersects
with Rist Canyon Road.

It takes about 45 minutes to get up there from west Fort Collins.

The Buckhorn Repeater (145.205) provides full coverage to the route and
other NCARC repeaters are accessible from the start area.

We will need 4 operators on-site and at least one operator at a home
location with access to a landline if the need arises.

Tom Cottam and I will be participating but we need three more operators to
cover the request.

I asked for volunteers regarding this event at the June meeting but forgot
to note who volunteered at that time.

Please reply to WA5VRL, using whatley at frii.com if you can support this
request.


Because I will be helping with this, I will not be available for the August
meeting.
At this time, there is no presentation scheduled for the meeting but there
is probably some business that will need to be covered.
