Michael,
  I've been working with the software Radio Mobile Deluxe over the past few
months, and have prepared a rough plot of the LRA APRS repeater on Namaqua
hill.  I've attached it, but it can be found online here as well:

  If you pull it up, you'll note that just west of Wellington (near County
Road 60) there are some areas of "spotty" (yellow) coverage - I'm guessing
due to some hilly areas just to the south.  Note I used many estimates
entering parameters into the software to assemble this coverage plot, so it
is what I call very rough.  However, the fact that the areas you mention
show up in yellow makes me think it's not too far off.  Anyway, take a look
and let me know what you think.
  If what the plot shows is reasonably correct, further north of where you
mention would start to improve.  Only suggestion I would have to improve the
coverage in this area would be to move this repeater to Horsetooth, as it's
area of coverage is generally better due to its higher elevation.

I've been experimenting with our APRS digi.
It seems there is severe shadowing north of Larimer county road 60.
Anyone aware of this?
