All,
I helped with this event before - it is large and definitely worth the time
to help this worthy event.
This does conflict with the Old Flowers Road 10K, both events still need
help.

Would you like to practice your radio skills, help further diabetes
research, or perhaps just do something good for your community? In one day
you can do all these and more. The 2010 Tour de Cure is upon us, and
they've requested lots of ham support.
We're trying some new things this year, so we need your help. We will be
providing voice communications and possibly APRS support for the event, and
you can help us ensure that this year is another success.
The ride is Saturday, August 21, and the various routes will span over 100
gorgeous miles through Longmont, Loveland and Estes Park.
For event details, including race and rest stop maps, please see the Tour de
Cure Website at http://www.tourdecurecolorado.com.
Please consider volunteering for this noble cause, and spread the word to
your fellow hams. To lend your much appreciated support, please email me (
ronald.thomas at gmail.com <http://mc/[email protected]>) with
the following information:
- Call Sign
- Contact Phone Number and Type (preferably cell)
- Radio and Antenna Capabilities (if your rig is mobile, can it be easily
moved to a SAG Vehicle?)
- Operational Capabilities (Rest Stop, SAG Vehicle, or either)
- APRS Capability
- T-shirt Size
Thank you and 73,
Ron Thomas
