[NCARC] NCARC Hamfest this Saturday, also need Hamfest volunteers

Well-- it's that time of year again.... NCARC HAMFEST!

This Saturday January 17th from 8 am to noon we will have our annual bash
that includes excellent prizes again.   Please see the NCARC website at
www.ncarc.net for a flyer and more information.  We have a LOT of tables
already taken and a few more are available.  Please hurry and sign up while
there are a few left.

We need some additional volunteers-- and these are fun assignments.  Please
help out the club while having fun--  also please reply soon so we can get
this part of the preparation done.

1.  Need several hams to help with talk-in.  This is where you monitor
145.115 and help people make it to the Lincoln Center in Ft. Collins.
Great net control practice as well as map practice.   We need at least 1 and
up to 3 hams to cover from 9-12.  This is light duty at this time... you
might actually be able to attend the fest while doing this duty if you keep
a map handy as well as have an HT with noise-cancelling headphones.

2. Need several people to help with selling food.  Typically we need 1
person from 8-9, 1 person from 9-10, one person from 10-11, and 2 people
from 11-12.  

3. Need one person from 6-8 to help with vendor admissions-- (Pssst.... this
gives you a chance to spot good stuff coming in.....)

4.  Need several people from 7-9 to help with admissions for the general
public.
