This Saturday November 15th, the Fort Collins Mayor, Doug Hutchinson (K0DTK)
will be making a presentation on his experiences with ham radio. He will
start at 9:00 am. He is also joining us for breakfast at 8:00 am. His
biography is attached below.
We will also be electing new officers for the next year at this meeting.

We currently only have one officer per position. If you would like to be
included in the nomination or want to vote for each officer (yes or no), you
may also do so by email provided that the votes are emailed or mailed to our
Secretary, Dave Langenberg, KC9FOO (David Langenberg [davel at uchicago.edu])
in time to get the votes to the meeting (practically speaking this means
this coming Friday evening November 14th).

Biography:
Doug Hutchinson - (K0DTK)
Doug Hutchinson was elected Mayor of Fort Collins on April 5, 2005. He and
his wife, Cathy, both grew up in Fort Collins. Doug retired from the US Air
Force as a lieutenant colonel and then served for ten years as a civilian
with the Department of Defense. He retired after 33 years of service in 1999
and returned to Fort Collins.
Prior to becoming Mayor, Hutchinson was an active observer of city politics,
and wrote a regular political community column for the Fort Collins
Coloradoan for over three years. Fort Collins' Style Magazine commissioned
Doug and Cathy to jointly author a series of articles on northern Colorado
regional issues.
Mayor Hutchinson graduated from Colorado State University, where he received
a Bachelors degree in Physical Science in 1965. He earned a Masters degree
in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in 1976,
with an additional graduate certificate in information systems from USC in
1985.
Doug is the author of "The History of a Radio Amateur", Volume 1: 1955-1963
published in December of 2003.
Doug and Cathy live in "old town" Fort Collins, and their three children
(and seven grandchildren) all live in or near Fort Collins.
