QST QST QST to all hams in the Northern Colorado area:

This coming Saturday August 16th, Mark Sheets (N0ERS) with Larimer County
Search and Rescue will
make a presentation at the NCARC meeting. He will talk about Larimer County
search and rescue
operations, including communications and special communication challenges
faced in Larimer County.  This will be of special interest to those of us
who are
either involved in ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and who may also
want
to be involved in search and rescue.  Hope to see you all there!


Meeting time:  	Breakfast starts at 8:00 am
			Saturday August 16th
		   	Regular meeting at 9:00 am ~ 9:30 am
			Mark's Presentation at 9:30 am
Location:		Golden Corral restaurant
			901 E. Harmony Road (across from Sam's club)
			Fort Collins
			Local hams monitor 145.115 -ve offset 100 hz in case you need directions
