CQ CQ CQ de COQP - Colorado QSO Party is July 15th!
The Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association is sponsoring the 2007 return of
the Colorado QSO Party on July 15th! Mark your calendars now and plan to
get on the air and activate one of the 64 Colorado counties and get ready
for the pile-up as all stations want to contact you! The party runs from
1200Z July 15 to 0400 July 16 (Sunday the 15th in the U.S.). Operation can
be CW, Phone, Digital, or any combination. Operating bands are all HF
contesting bands, VHF, and UHF. There will be many awards given for top
scorers in several categories. The complete rules and latest party
information are at www.ppraa.org/coqp. Catch you on the air for COQP!
 
Thirty counties have coverage thus far.  That is almost half of the 64 
counties in Colorado.  If you or your friends and club can cover a 
county see the above website for available counties and email us at 
coqp-counties at ppraa.org <mailto:coqp-counties at ppraa.org>.  We'll be 
pleased to add your coverage to the website.  If you are going to work 
the contest from your QTH please let us know the county so we can 
indicate coverage.  This includes major metropolitian areas like Denver, 
Boulder, Ft. Collins, Grand Junction, Pueblo and etc.
