QST to all ARRL Ve's in the local area-
Pete Cadmus (KA9MUS), a science teacher at the Pioneer charter school for
Expeditionary Learning in Fort Collins (near Timberline and Drake) has been
running a program to get roughly 50-60+ junior and senior high school
physics students licensed with at least the tech class, and possibly a few
generals and extras. KOOJ has graciously stepped in to help with the VE
testing as the initial VE test arrangements fell through last Thursday due
to a medical problem. K0OJ needs our help. He desperately needs VE tester
help for this coming Friday April 5th from about 12:45 pm (test starts at
1:00 pm) to approximately 3:00 pm. I would imagine even if you could help
part of this time it would be of great benefit. Contact KO0J at
k0oj at msn.com or at 353-7094. Email thread is below.

Will Do. Does their student id count? (Issued by our school) Most have
driver's licenses or learner's permits by now, but not all.
Thanks for the help.
