Howdy-
We've got another in a series of very interesting and informative
presentations planned for our NCARC meeting on Saturday. Mike Bates, N7DQ,
will be doing a presentation on ham radio and the Linux operating system.
The first part will cover Linux: what it is, where to find it, what
hardware it will run on, and most importantly what it can do for you. Then,
he will be showing some of the growing ham radio uses of Linux.
At the meeting we will also update you on the Fall hamfest financial
results, our new repeaters, and talk about future directions for the fest
and for projects. Please plan on attending:
