Volunteers,

Though food is available at the start/finish,
it turns out to be inconveniant for operators in the field
unless your duty is over early enough.
In the past there have been grumblings (in the stomach maybe?)
about not getting fed.  My apologies.  There is not much I
can do about that.  Those of you that will be working through the
lunch hour should pack something.  The rest stops will have
snacks and drinks that you may participate in but you should
also be prepared on your own.

Other suggestions:
jacket
hat
sunscreen
plenty of battery power
lawn chair

You'll be hopping, so a book won't be necessary.
