[NCARC] Field Day

Field day: June 25 noon to June 26 3pm.

Where: Buckhorn mountain.

Directions:  Through Laporte, up Rist canyon.  14.4 miles from the light where the road to Laporte leaves 287, at the top of the hill there is a sign on the left for Buckhorn mountain. Half a mile up that road there is a gate on the right.  We are on the hill behind the first house on the right.  I will place signs to help.  Rist canyon road is paved. From there on it is gravel.  Normal cars should have no problem. A short hike up the hill (at 8000ft) will get you to the site.  If someone wants to visit, who cannot make the hike, the hill can be reached by 4WD.

We will monitor 145.115 in order to help people find us.
