[NCARC] 145.115 will be back up from 4:00 am through 11:00 am on 1/15/05 for talk-in

HI folks-

I'm reasonably certain we aren't creating the interference from the 145.115
repeater enough to go ahead and turn on the repeater for the hamfest talk in
on Saturday.  The repeater will be up from 4:00 am through 11:00 am for
talk-in purposes.  We still don't have the interference situation fully
understood or resolved on the 152.690 frequency, so until we do (and because
the owner of the pager from Rule Communications, Bob,  is not able to get to
his equipment) we will need to keep the 145.115 shut off so as to not cause
any out of band interfernce to Great Western Railroad.  Hopefully very soon
(this weekend) since I am not as much under a deadline at work we can get up
the hill and run the experiments on Bob's pager.

Howdy again--- the reflectors won't allow me to send attachments-- but I
cut/pasted some of the info George sent to me.  You can get an idea that if
you put in a frequency to the FCC database (in this case 152960) you can
quickly get useful info.  The formatting is lost, but you can see that the
phone number is available, etc.

Greetings:

I was going to test the intermod situation this morning but when I checked
the 152.690 frequency at 4 am, the continuous unmodulated carrier was
still alive.  With the carrier wave active, the test for intermod on the
160.262.5 frequency would not have been revealing.

Attached are the lookup file (152690) for the TX located on Horsetooth
along with a single drill-down of the documents (Additional, Site, Freq,
Radial) for your viewing pleasure.

This might save you from having to look up the contact info for the site.

Let me know if I can assist with any other testing during the upcoming week.
I am usually available after 3 pm each day.
