[NCARC] Reminder

Hello Kerry and all,
 
Kerry, I thought I would toss out an idea regarding
your question about the Tech Net format.  We could
have a specific topic for part of each tech net, then
just open forum.  We could have a theme for a few
sessions -- or a month or so -- and zero in on a
specific technical topic on that theme for each
session.  
 
We have talked quite a bit about antennas already, but
just as an example we could have an antenna theme for
a month, then one session we would talk about
grounding and radials, one session omni-directional
antennas, another on directional, and another on
mobile antennas, etc. One person could open the
discussion with a short information presentation to
kick off the discussion, we could have a time limit,
then close that topic and open for general tech talk
and Q&A.
 
Just a thought.  Also, maybe we could use some of the
results Steve got on his survey of NCARC members'
interests for other ideas.
