[NCARC] Tech Class Notice

If you know of anyone looking for a Technician License Course, the LRA and
NCARC sponsored class is starting tomorrow.  Please see the details below:



Technician Class:
Tuesday nights starting 4/13 and running through June 15th.  This includes
the test session during the last class period.  The class will run from 7:00
to 9:00PM.

Materials to bring:  Note paper, calculator and the instruction manual as
soon as you receive it.

Location:  Zion Lutheran Church, 815 E. 16th Street, Loveland CO (One block
north and east of Heritage Ford on Eisenhower Blvd.)

Estimated cost (depending on number of students for final cost):  $25
materials plus $12 VE License examination fee.

The first session will an introduction to amateur radio and the different
classes of licenses.  We will cover a bit of metric system and basic math
review and have a demonstration of 2M FM repeater usage.  We will also have
a video:  Amateur Radio Today, narrated by Walter Cronkite
