[NCARC] Address changes to qth.net, a "how to"

Hi all,

Several people have expressed concern that they can't change their
address or get subscribed to the list on qth.net. I successfully did
it, but it looks like it is not done through the majordomo any more.
Here is how I did it:

I went to the ncarc page at
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/ncarc and filled out the form
with a password, giving it my new address. Then replied to the email
that was sent to me and I'm in.

To get rid of my old address, attib.com to comcast.net, I then used the
configuration window address that I was given,
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/options/ncarc/w0rcy%40comcast.net (@ is
represented by %40) and changed it to my old email address
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/options/ncarc/w0rcy%40attbi.com. This
goes to my account that the system set up recently, so I clicked "email
my password to me." This gave me the password that was assigned to me
and I was able to use that to unsubscribe my old address.

I think we probably don't need the yahoo group at this time. We were
just trying to use a new system in the old way.

Ted, could you update the "how to" on the NCARC web page to use this new
method instead of the majordomo?

Cheers,
Rick, W0RCY
