It's time to install some new antennas.
Here's your chance to get some tower experience.
We'll be replacing the two Diamond X-50N's with a Sinclair
commercial rated 450MHz vertical and a 220Mhz antenna.
During the installation we'll be testing the hardline to make sure
we're not installing good antennas on problematic coax.
We'll need at least 4 people on the ground and possibly 2 on the
tower. We have climbing belts and harnesses and lots of tools.
The process will go like this:
disconnect the X-50N's
dismount the X-50N's
check the hardline and coax
Mount the Sinclair and Electro-com antennas
connect the coax jumpers
check SWR
seal the connections
If you've never seen the tower, the confuration
looks something like this:

Our antennas are where the exclamation marks are.
There were some folks that already expressed interest
in helping. Let me know what you would like to do.
I'm hoping we can do this next weekend. I can have all
the supplies we need before then.
