[NCARC] Tower regulations & Larimer Co - Wed July 9 - at new courthouse

Anybody interested/concerned about regulation of towers 
(amateur,cellular, broadcast, anything) in Larimer County should 
consider attending this meeting and observe what takes place.

There is a working session meeting the Larimer County Commissioners 
and the Larimer County Planning Commission as shown below.

I've spoken with one of the Commissioners and it sounds like the tower 
topic is to be a report on  "considerations" re. regulation of towers of a=
ll 
types in the county - including amateur towers.

There is no reason to believe this is intended to target ham antennas. 
BUT, there is also no reason to believe that it won't either. 

So, if interested people can attend to observe and inform themselves, it 
might help us if they do try to go after ham towers. 

Randy, W0AVV, and I made some pretty good strides with the regs were 
changed in late '99/early 2000 so we need to be vigilant and see to it tha=
t 
they don't sneak in things that could cause us more problems in erection 
of antennas in Larimer County.

The meeting is at the new courthouse. You can call the county planning
