The Amateur Radio Emergency Service District 10 information net will be held=
=20
Wednesday night (April 23)=A0 at 9:00 PM local on the 447.275 MHz Repeater.

 447.275- MHz (442.275 input) 100 Hz CTCSS Subtone, Phone Autopatch.=20
(40-32.969N, 105-11.822W, 7230ft)=20

All=A0 stations are welcome to check in .=A0 Membership or affiliation with=20=
any=20
club or organization is not required, merely an interest in emergency=20
communications or activities affecting the amateur community in the local=20
area.

I would like to address some of the questions that have been raised=A0 by ou=
r=20
use of different frequencies recently.

As listed in the new COPLAN: There are 2 primary repeaters for emergency=20
use:=A0 145.115 (presently disabled) and 146.850.

There are numerous secondary frequencies listed, and it seems appropriate to=
=20
hold the net on a variety of them.=A0 This allows us to evaluate each one as=
 to=20
it's actual utility, and keep our members prepared to utilize a variety of=20
frequencies.

If you cannot "hit" a given repeater, please do not feel that it reflects on=
=20
the utility of your station, rather it is an indication of the utility of th=
e=20
repeater.

If you cannot participate in the net because of signal problems or lack of=20
equipment, please let me know by E-mail=A0 so that we can use that informati=
on=20
to evaluate the repeater.

Please be prepared to listen on the input frequency for weak stations and=20
relay weak signals to net control.
