[NCARC] new list up

Folks,

Today, you each received email notification that the change to the
new list software is complete.

Know it's time for each of us to do a little email program tune-up.

    1. If you stored the old reflector address in your
       address book, update it to ncarc@mailman.qth.net
       this is the address now used to make postings.

    2. Make sure your email program is configured to
       send plain old ASCII, simple text....etc. The list
       will not accept HTML, multipart or messages with
       attachments.

    3. CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD!!!!
       Each of us received a webpage address and a
       default password. Go to that webpage, login
       and change your password. Change your login
       regularly, once per month is sufficient. These
       steps are considered "Best Practices" to assure
       good system security.

This change should be painless. I'm on other email lists that have
been converted, and there has been very little disruption. Don't
hesitate to contact me if you have questions.
