[na0tc] Speakers for October club meeting and TechFest needed

[285 TechConnect Radio Club - Denver, Colorado]

Hi all,

The October club meeting is coming up soon and I'm looking for someone to
present during the technical session. I've presented at half of the
sessions so far this year, and I'd really like someone else to step up if
possible. I'm also in need of a couple of presenters for TechFest in
November and I'd prefer to find some new topics that haven't been covered
recently.

Potential topics:

- Antenna overview (various antenna types, selecting the right antenna,
stealth antennas, etc)
- DIY builds (antennas, kits, baluns, radios)
- Grounding and lightning protection
- Antenna testers / NanoVNA deep dive
- A hands-on group project
- Repeater technical overview (focused on how repeaters work, what
equipment is required, antennas, emergency power, etc)
- Vintage rig restoration
- Radio programming tools (like RT Systems, using vendor code plug
software, etc)
- Working satellites and/or earth-moon-earth (EME) QSOs
- Or anything else that you think would be interesting to the club

Please reach out to me directly if you have a topic you'd like to present.

Thanks and 73,

Mark K0EHR
