[na0tc] January club meeting and officer elections

Hi all and happy holidays!

A quick reminder that we will be holding our first meeting of 2026 this
Saturday, January 3rd, at the usual place and time (Bridge Church, 3101 S.
Kipling St in Lakewood, starting at 9:30am).

This is one of the most important meetings of the year as we’ll be holding
officer elections. I will be stepping down as club president, so if anyone
would like to step into the role, please consider throwing your hat in
the ring. I will be running for club VP once again. If you’re interested in
running and have any questions about the role, feel free to reach out.

Also a reminder that club annual dues are due on Jan 1st. We’re keeping
dues at $15/year and they’re payable in person by cash/check or via Zelle.
Details on paying via Zella are on the club website under membership.

I will be delivering the January technical presentation, which will provide
an overview of the Meshtastic and MeshCore technologies, which are open
source text-based communications protocols. If you’re a Meshtastic or
MeshCore user, feel free to bring your transceivers as I’ll be discussing
an NA0TC channel that I’ve created for all of us to use.

Thanks to everyone that keeps this great club running and I’m excited to
have led the club into 2026–our 20th anniversary year!
