[na0tc] TechFest 2025 Volunteer signups are live!

[285 TechConnect Radio Club - Morrison, Colorado]

Hi all,

We're about 3 weeks out from TechFest so it's time to start asking you all
for help! As you know, TechFest is the club's #1 fundraiser for the year
and I'm hoping to have 50 attendees this year. In order to pull this off, I
need as much help as I can get for the following roles:

- Setup / breakdown (setup Friday Nov 7 around 6pm, breakdown after the
event on Nov 8)
- Food and beverage (help Larry set up and sell donuts/beverages)
- Lunch wrangler (help attendees sign up for the Jimmy John's group order)
- Speaker wrangler (keep track of speakers, make sure they arrive on time
and help them get connected to Zoom if needed)
- AV tech(s) (monitor the presentations, make sure recordings are running
smoothly, and notify speakers when their time is running out, and
photographer(s) to take pictures throughout the event)
- Talk-in monitor (monitor the talk-in repeater and answer questions as
needed)
- Registration desk (sell tickets and memberships at the door; cash
handling)
- PR: help spread the word about TechFest (contact other hams/clubs to let
them know about the event)
- Signage: create directional signs to help people find the event, both
inside and outside

Also, if anyone has any items they'd like to donate for giveaways, please
let me know. We will also have a "free" table for folks that want to donate
free items (note that if the items aren't taken, please be prepared to take
them back at the end of the day).
