[na0tc] TechFest 2024: volunteers desperately needed--please sign up and help!

Hi all,

TechFest is fast approaching (I know it's still August, but Nov 2 will be
here before we know it).

I REALLY REALLY REALLY need people to commit to helping out with the
TechFest event this year. I have a heavy travel schedule this fall and my
bandwidth will be very tight--I can't do this alone.

If we're going to pull this off, I need club members to step up and pitch
in now--while we still have time to get everything sorted out.

I have nearly closed on the speaker list (more on that coming soon), but I
need help on event logistics: setup/breakdown, food/beverage, PR, signage,
talk-in, signage, speaker wrangler, etc.

Please check it out and sign up for whatever you can. Also if you're
interested in being the lead in one or more of the areas, drop me a note to
let me know please. It's more than OK for people to sign up for more than
one thing, provided they don't conflict.
