Our next club meeting will be Saturday, 1 August. Larry (K0NA) will discuss
his adventure with troubleshooting an Alpha 77 high power HF amplifier
power supply. I will follow Larry’s presentation with a discussion about
tuning high power HF amplifiers. I will cover some of the basic theory of
the Pi Net, go over the Do’s & Don’ts of tuning (some of which also apply
to manual external antenna tuners), and show what can happen if the Don’ts
aren’t taken seriously. Hope to see you there.
