Perhaps we can watch the server CPU loads and RAM usage during our next net. I’m inclined to think that TeamTalk doesn’t need much RAM on the server, but I could be wrong. I’m inclined to think that it is more of a link quality problem.

Sounds like it’s time for a root cause analysis.

Based on this, it looks like only 1 GB of RAM. What did previous RPI have? In my opinion, this is the bottleneck. Once users access the server, Linux will start swapping. Really need to conpare RAM with previous server.

Thanks!

Is the RAM the same on the new RPi server? RAM may be most important. I will see if I can find anything else, too.

Thanks!

So everyone can view statistics:

Hi, John:

Thanks.
Looks like 84% of RAM is free and 89% of disk space is free.

teamtalk@nc8q-teamtalk:~ $ free -h
total        used        free      shared  buff/cache   available
Mem:           921Mi        77Mi       527Mi       1.0Mi       316Mi       778Mi
Swap:           99Mi          0B        99Mi
teamtalk@nc8q-teamtalk:~ $ df -h
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/root        15G  1.6G   13G  12% /
devtmpfs        203M     0  203M   0% /dev
tmpfs           461M     0  461M   0% /dev/shm
tmpfs           185M  1.1M  184M   1% /run

I could move from a SD card to a solid state drive.
However, I figure 99% of the r/w goes to RAM buffers.
I assume only logs and file uploads consume SD writes.
