The current Stable (3.23.12.0) supports a new tunnel-2.0 that does
not
slow down the network like the former tunnel-1.0.
The current Nightly (20240108) is testing a tunnel-3.0 that may be
more efficient than tunnel-2.0.

There are (usually around) 2200 nodes in the extended network.

Over 50% of the local nodes are running a current stable or recent
Nightly Build.
