Chuck, correct me if I'm wrong, but many years ago, this same
scheme of loading a file into phones for direct ip dialing was
used by a group in Dayton, OH.

Anyone recall the loading of IP addresses into phones and dialing
from the phones' internal whitepages?
I started with IP phones when Tim N8NQH gave me 2 Nortel phones that
do not IP dial.
I had to have a PBX to use them, so I created nc8q-raspbx. ;-)
