Good evening gents,
My buddy just got back to me, and a gentleman named Adam will be expecting a call from me tomorrow. From what my friend says, Adam won't be the final decision maker, but he will be able to run it up the chain. My friend shared the links I sent (AREDN, MVMA) so he apparently has an idea of what to expect.
I plan on covering all the obvious bases:
- Entirely voluntary, community service-oriented emergency communications support, installed and maintained by FCC licensed Amateur Radio operators.
- Provide Web Services, File Sharing, Video Conferencing, VOIP telephony; pretty much anything the internet can do.
- Small equipment footprint with very low power requirements.
- The club already maintains a number of sites in the Dayton area, including hospitals.
- The 3131 Winsupply building is ideally located to support the expansion of our network to the West side of the Dayton Metro area.
If there are any other points you think I should cover, please let me know.
Cheers,
Steve
