I've added two items to my ham radio (5.8ghz) mesh node.
1. IP telephone tester.
I added a Grandstream 1630 IP telephone, and modified it to have an
external audio input. Connected to this external input is a NWS weather
radio. This 1630 is set to auto-answer after the first ring. If your mesh
phone is working properly, you should be able to call my 1630 and hear the NWS
broadcast.
You can dial my IP address or an extension on NC8Q's PBX:
IP dialing: 10.16.139.195
or NC8Q PBX extension: 1011
2. Web Page (html file)
server
There are html files on a server now connected to my mesh node. You
can surf my "web" pages (though there is no internet involved).
Go to my node: N8NQH-to-MVHS
and click on its advertised service: Click for my info
pages
Years ago I had something similar on the local mesh system, but it was
using a FTP server; some browsers wouldn't display the html page via FTP.
This new server is intended strictly for HTML use.
