Nightly Build 1036 is a bit of a milestone for the development team.
It's the first version to be completely free of the Perl language and all the libraries that support it.
All subsequent nightly builds and stable releases will benefit from this important improvement.
Early reports indicate that it loads much faseter than our previous version and uses about 2 megabytes less memory.

If you intend to install it, check it closely and post any bugs. Note, Perl versions are no longer available for screen comparisons as they have been the last few weeks.

Have at it! Looking forward to your comments.

Nightly Build Reminder
The AREDN team greatly appreciates all of the testing of the nightly builds as they roll out and introduce the new code base and features.
We are paying close attention to your reports of successes and problems found.

Just as a reminder:
IMPORTANT NOTE:
While AREDN encourages you to download, install and test the nightly builds and report any issues found,
DO NOT install them in any node that doesn’t have easy access (e.g., towers, water tanks or mountain tops).
By definition nightly builds are not to be considered production grade software.

As of this morning, the current nightly is 1042.
