[MVMA] Setting Up at New QTH

I moved out of my apartment in Fairborn in November and now live about three minutes down Bellefontaine Rd from DARA. I experimented with connecting to the DARA 2GHz Omni a couple weeks ago using Bill’s TP-Link dish/bullet and was able to successfully link in. 

I recently got a RBLHG-2nD and RBLHG-5nD. Trying today with my LHG 2GHz, I was not able to spot the Omni. It looks like the LHG may not have sufficient gain to cut through the trees (?). Of course, I was holding the LHG in my hand in the rain, so the setup was definitely not optimal ;).

I would like to link back in to the mesh and hope to have the hardware together to mount a dish (LHG or other if necessary) within a few weeks. No rush though.

Thoughts on a path forward?
