This is the configuration for a GS108E that has three nodes,
the first node with two “LAN” ports (i.e. phone and camera),
and the second and third nodes with one “LAN” port each
The last port, port 8, is for your home internet.

Each of the LAN ports can be expanded with a dumb hub or switch.

  Additionally, the NODE ports can be expanded via a hub or simple switch to
create additional DtD'ed nodes (without access to LAN ports on the 
additional nodes).

  To get access to LAN ports on Nodes on a remote a VLAN switch requires 
a 'VLAN Trunk'.
