Miami Valley Meshers:
I recently received two SXTsq-5HPnD and two LHG-5HPnD-XL-INTL devices.
The SXT-INTLs, although they came with Euro plugs on the POEs, took the
AREDN install of Nightly-1819 with ease.
The LHG-5HPnD-XL-INTLs were not taking the AREDN firmware and returning
'Bad Gateway...' on my browser.
I entered a github/AREDN ticket and received a beta .elf and .bin from
Joe ae6xe some hours later.
At first attempt this f/w failed with the 'Bad Gateway...' error.
Checking the contents on several nodes of the content of
sysinfo/board_name, I found
the existing working nodes had the value '/rb-lhg-5hpnd-xl'/ or
'/rb-lhg-5hpnd'/.
On the new LHGs the value was /'unknown/'.
So, I ssh'ed into the node and entered:
/echo "//rb-lhg-5hpnd" > sysinfo/board_name
/Then I was able to upload Joe's beta .bin file.
Using the same procedure I was able to upload Nightly-1819.
However under Nightly-1819 I get a '!!!! UNTESTED HARDWARE !!!!' yellow
banner.
Both Joe's .bin and Nightly-1819 seem work fine.
:-)
Awaiting a future Nightly with fixes for this anomaly.
