Since the ARRL District Convention and the TMRA HamFest have been 
cancelled for this coming weekend, we thought it might still be fun to 
get together on Sunday afternoon to set up an ad-hoc AREDN Mesh 
network.  This will give us an opportunity to play, test, socialize, and 
configure our equipment, but more importantly, excellent practice in 
case we are called upon to provide mesh network support in an actual 
event or emergency.

Sunday March 15, 1300-1600 (approximately)
We will meet in the parking lot at Owens Community College just north of 
the Student Health and Activities Center (parking lot "O" on the 
screenshot below).  We will be deploying outside and AC outlets will be 
rather scarce, so you may want to bring along some long extension cords 
and outlet strips (better yet - battery or solar power!)  TMRA has 
offered the use of their generator, so we will have that available as 
well.  Bring whatever mesh equipment you need to get your node up and 
connected, so don't forget your ac adapters, network cables, network 
hub/switch, etc.  Consider bringing along your HT since we might try 
spreading out across campus to see what kind of distances we can 
successfully connect. The weather forecast is calling for a sunny day, 
but it will likely be chilly, so dress appropriately since we will be 
outside.

This deployment is just for fun and education - so come out and join us 
for a few hours -  Hope to see you there!
