Hi, Moe:

  In short distances, I agree.
In longer distances (>6 miles) it may make sense.
Bill/Tim reported good results when a SISO AirGrid was paired with a 
MIMO Nanostation.
I think that when a MIMO transmits to a SISO, it sends the same data on 
both streams.
In the event of any polarity skew, the data gets through.
