Draft meeting minutes for MVMA meeting on February 9, 2019.

All: The next meeting is expected to be at the Bellbrook ARC clubhouse 
on March 9, 2019, beginning at 10 AM.

Meeting opened at 10:04 AM.

Attendance: Bill WA8APB, Reuben W8GUC, John J. N8JJ, John W. W8LRJ, Wynn 
W6CDR, Moe AB8XA, Chuck NC8Q.
Who was the 'Phil' that dropped in late? Who else did I omit?

Standing reports:

     DARA<>XWARN link: Moe: Giving up. This item dropped due to lack of 
interest.
     DARA<>MVHS link: No update.
     KAS: Champion: John Westerkamp W8LRJ. No update.
     AUXCOMM activity: Nothing planned.
     Formation Committee: Chuck, Moe, JJ, Reuben, (Fred, Mark A.) No update.

Old business:

      XWARN: reimbursement: need invoice

     No update.

New Business:

     Motion by Moe and seconded by Reuben to restrict
         access to MVMA secured sites and
         configuration of MVMA owned devices.
     Restriction to include a process for announcing specific changes 
beforehand by a specified time.
     Specific changes to be approved by a review committee.
     Before the motion could be reduced to written words, it was put 
into discussion by acclamation.
     Many amendments were suggested. Nothing was approved. Motion rests 
awaiting reduction to writing.

Reports/actions:

     Maker Faire 2019: Anyone interested? No one expressed interest.
     DARA: Fiber Optic Media converters to isolate DARA clubhouse 
equipment from a lightening strike on our tower mounted devices.
         Transsector ESD devices will be installed.
         Champion: Reuben, Moe
         There is fibre cable at the DARA clubhouse. Awaiting adapters 
for each end.
     KAS:  Will be dropped from 'active' status.

     Floor opened for discussion.
     Bill:
         Spoke on developing relationships with public service agencies.
         Hamvention 2019: Logistics: MVMA monitor mounted on wall. 32" 
monitors on tables. Chuck to complete booth paperwork.
         Fire Station on Indian Ripple Rd.
     Other discussions continued. The meeting was closed at 12:15 PM.

Completed:

     DARA: Reimbursement received.
     Reimburse Bill for the AGHP5G27 at DARA.
     MVMA inventory storage at DARA clubhouse (Reuben).
